Got hold of a Nikon D5300 DSLR camera recently – driven by the expectated birth of our daughter this month I am starting to get into the manual or professional modes, where less adjustments are done for you by the camera.

Got a great shot of our dog after coming out of the water. I was immediately impressed with detail and water texture on the fur. Applied some adjustments via Photoshop’s mighty camera raw filter.
